Abstract: Custom power management (PM) and energy autonomy are driving the on-chip PM circuit design. There are opportunities for leveraging existing CMOS and other technologies for the economical solutions to the power saving and energy autonomous circuits. In this talk examples of the aforementioned solutions for the diverse applications are presented. Biography: Maryam Shojaei Baghini is TATA Trust Chair Professor in Frugal Engineering in the department of Electrical Engineering IIT Bombay, India. Her research interests span analog/mixed-signal/RF IC design for various applications, sensor systems and device-circuit co-design. She has published 320 peer-reviewed papers and is the joint-inventor of 6 granted U.S. patents and 22 granted Indian patents. Dr. Maryam is the recipient of several awards, of which the recent award is Qualcomm-India Faculty Award in 2021. She is a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Sensors Council from 2022 to 2024 and listed as one of the 51 selected Women Achievers in STEM by CII, India, in 2021. She received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, followed by 2 years of industry experience and postdoctoral research at IIT Bombay before joining as a faculty member in 2008.
